The increase and its calculation

The National Disability Secretariat, part of the Ministry of Health, has set a 1.7% increase in the tariffs of the Basic Comprehensive Care Benefits System for People with Disabilities for September 2026. The measure was formalized through Resolution 3487/2026, published in the Official Gazette. The adjustment is based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for August 2026, following the monthly update mechanism established under Law 27.793. This continues the practice of using the previous month's inflation to adjust the nomenclator values.[S1][S3][S4]

The new tariffs build on those set by Resolution 2775/2026 of August 21, which had applied a 2.10% increase for August based on July's CPI. The resolution also reaffirms the 20% additional payment on the basic tariff for services provided in Patagonian provinces, recognized as an unfavorable zone under Article 7 bis of Law 24.901. The updated values are detailed in an annex published on the Official Gazette's website, and the measure took effect upon publication.[S1][S3][S4]

The resolution sets three categories—A, B, and C—for various services, plus a single category for specific provisions.
